Monday, July 29, 2019A beautiful woman both inside and out as she tended her garden and beloved pets and family. She was dearly loved and admired by her fierce and fiery spirit. A woman of wish I would have been proud if she was my own mother.

Sunday, July 28, 2019I first met Cookie, when I was a very small girl. My father, Larry Hill became a partner in the Nine Bar and Restaurant. When the Nine Bar was no longer, Cookie came to work at the Leisure Lounge for our family. She worked the day shift and was always there to see us when we came in for cokes and maybe a bite to eat. She was a fixture there until my dad sold the business. My dad really appreciated the hard work that Cookie did. I have reconnected with her family with Facebook, and I would like to extend my condolences to the family. She was one in a million, and I am sure she will reunite with my mom and dad in heaven and they can talk about the “good old days”,

Friday, July 26, 2019I know Cookie will be missed by a lot of people. She brought a lot of sunshine to this world ! One of the fondest memories that I have of her “ besides Fort Desoto cook outs !”, was her attendance at my moms funeral and her words of comfort to me , it meant a lot to me , and I can almost hear her say to you guys - “ It’s all right, we will be together again , hang in there and keep your chin up” . My heart goes out to all of her family and my prayers are with you. I pray that God gives you each strength and comfort . ❤️
