Obituary of Helen Delores Keseleski (Scutti)

Helen Delores Keseleski (Scutti), age 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Morton Plant Hospital. From her birth in Port Reading, New Jersey, on April 29, 1930 to her death on Saturday she was happy, positive and energetic with love and faith. She was born in the house her sister still lives in to Bernadino and Esther (Savolina) Scutti and was the second oldest of five children.

Helen met Robert (Bob) Keseleski at a skating rink, they married on September 3, 1949 in Port Reading, New Jersey and resided in Edison, New Jersey for several years before moving to St. Petersburg, Florida in 1960.

Helen worked at the original Charlie and Millie's Pizza Parlor along side Charlie and Millie while her children were young. She eventually began a career in banking for several years before a long career at General Electric, which she retired from.

Helen was a parishioner at Blessed Sacrament for 60 years, where she was a member of the Ava Maria Guild and volunteered throughout the years in the church and school. She was also a long standing member of the VFW.

Left to honor Helen and remember her love are Helen's four children, Robert Keseleski, Mary Ann Christy, Virginia (Harold) Morris, and Chris Keseleski; 11 grandchildren; Jason Balcombe, Elizabeth Balcombe, Nicholas Christy, Jennifer Hawk, Tracy Stapleton, William Morris, Parker Morris, Dustin Keseleski, Christy Keseleski; a sister, Elisa Gurney, seven great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Robert, parents, brothers Dominic and Anthony, and grandsons, Kyle Hoefer and Robert Christy.

Remembrance Mass will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 10:30 am at Blessed Sacrament Church, in the Chapel 11565 66th Avenue North, Seminole. Interment will follow at Serenity Gardens at the Lakeside Mausoleum 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo. The Celebration of Life will follow to reminisce, grieve, support each other, and of course, eat and drink responsibly at Debbie and Fred Pellissier's home in Seminole.

In liue of flowers, Helen requested donations be made in her name to Blessed Sacrament Church.
