Growing up, I remember Uncle Randy as a fun-loving guy who worked his butt off to provide for his family and take care of his customers. He played hard, too, and usually got us all involved in the action - everything from going out on the boat, to riding waverunners, swimming in the pool, riding motorcycles in the side yard, making homemade fireworks, and hanging out at the house all day eating grouper sandwiches. I can't remember a time when he didn't have grouper in his deep freeze. He gave me my first set of tools and a toolbox when I graduated from West Point and told me I'd need them to fix my Ford Explorer. He was right. I used those tools to keep that Explorer running for 17 years, amongst many other projects. I remember that he was a talented carpenter who could build just about anything, to include a two-story dock on the canal that doubled as a play fort.
From one Scott Family to another, our prayers are with Debbie, Michele, and Tyler. May God rest Uncle Randy's soul and give you all peace in this storm.
