My thoughts and prayers are with you .
I met Nickey around 25 years ago thru a friend . I remember her being lots of fun she loved her family and her friends. Even though I haven’t seen her in years her passing is a loss to everyone who knew her.
Love, Sharon Kosmider

I have had the privilege of being a member of the Bennett family for many years now. I lost my own mom over 10 years ago and Nickey had become my surrogate mom since then. My fondest memories of her fall on my birthdays. Every morning of my birthday, she would call me and sing the happy birthday song. She never forgot a birthday. Not once for as long as she was able to sing. For that I love her most dearly. Whenever I stopped by to see her, she welcomed me with open arms and a glass of sweet tea. It doesn't get any better than that. Be at Peace my sweet Nickey and know I will always love you.

I did not personally spend allot of time with Nickey but feel as though I did. I worked for / alongside Jack for approximately 20 years and was blessed to have him share their life stories with me over time. I have heard about the good times, the low times, the younger years, the latter years, the celebrations, the set backs, the goals, the accomplishments, the devotion, the laughter and most of all, their "undying" love for each other. Jack and Nickey's relationship was something to envy and it helped strengthen my own marriage. They confirmed my thoughts of what a marriage is supposed to be like. It's not about money, fame, or possessions. It's about getting through tough times "together". It's about giving in and compromise. It's about putting each others needs ahead of your own. In fact, the traditional wedding vows of "for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part" seems as though they were written specifically for them. I know from Jack's stories that Nickeys devotion and love for her family was unsurpassed. I pray that God will give them peace during this time and that those who read this message can use it towards making their own relationships stronger, as that in itself would make Nickey smile down on us once again. Our prayers are with you. The Konopinski family.

I don’t know which memory makes me laugh the most is it the first day you moved in next door and had lots of kids and thought I’d make a good babysitter. We know how that ends , we became family and I became a sister and not a sitter. Was the best laugh the 2:00 am knocking on my bedroom window while in telling me you were hiding from Jack ,making so much noise he could find you. Maybe it was going to Albertsons to pick up my mom. Nah it was Christmas shopping at k Bee toys. Maybe it was the new car and the car wash. We shared so many laughs at your blondness but mostly We shared love. I am forever blessed that you all moved in next door and we became a family. I am blessed we shared a conversation last week and shared feelings of love and even a Albertsons laugh or two when you butt dialed me back three times last week lol. No more pain my friend now you and mom can rock in those rocking chairs on the porch of heaven fly friend fly.
Ps So glad you got that white dog you were not getting lol. Go in peace friend Jack and the kids will be ok. Love you and thanks for making us a family.
Love maureen Paul Ryan and Caitlyn Boberg
