Obituary of Jackie Lee Detro

DETRO, Jackie Lee "Jack"- of Largo, Florida, age 86, died Wednesday March 16, 2022, at Suncoast Hospice Center.
He will be buried alongside his wife Greta at the Bay Pines Veterans Cemetery, St. Petersburg, Florida
Jack was born in Flint, Michigan on June 26, 1936, son of the late Harry and Jean (Decker) Detro.
He was a runner-up in the Michigan Golden Gloves, served in the Navy, and retired from General Motors, Toledo, Ohio.
He loved golfing, music, and sports and was still working out in the gym until his death.
He was preceded in death by his parents Harry Detro and Jean Meth, sister Barbara Green (Michael), wife Greta, children Dean Knapp (Lori), Brian Knapp, Lisa Greene (Robert), and Michael Detro.
Surviving are sons John (Moraima) Detro and Robert (Noyemi) Detro and daughters Jackie Trujillo Linda Knapp, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
