Obituary of Rosemary Ann Rowland

Rowland, Rosemary “Rose” (née Agogino), 62, of Seminole, Florida passed away on February 22, 2023. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania she graduated from Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls. She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael Sr. and Mary Agogino. Rose is survived by her daughters, Genevieve and Paige; her siblings, Michael (Chris) Agogino, Jr., Mary (Kevin) Donohue, Mark Agogino, Leo (Cynthia) Agoginio, and Theresa (Greg) Johnson; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Rose’s father always said she was the salt of the Earth; to know her was to love her. After graduating high school, she joined the United States Army and learned the Russian language at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California. Later, she worked for Macy’s and for the Pinellas County School District, most recently as a bookkeeper at Seminole High School. She loved her family, her country, and the music of the 70s. She always tried to help others and greeted everyone with a smile. She will be greatly missed by her daughters, her siblings, and the entire Rowland and Agogino families. Rose’s memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 11 AM at the E. James Reese Funeral Home in Seminole, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society; 1-800-227-2345.
