Obituary of Wilma I. Gordon

Wilma Gordon of Seminole, Fla., formerly of Evans City, passed away Monday at the Suncoast Hospice IPU in Pinellas Park, Fla. Born, June 25, 1934, in Spring Church, Pa., Wilma was the daughter of Claire Mansfield and Irene Wiser Mansfield. She married Patrick D. Gordon, who preceded her in death March 11, 1998. A Mars High School graduate, Wilma earned an associate degree in accounting from Butler County Community College. She worked and retired from MSA in Callery. Wilma belonged to the Blessed Sacrament Church in Seminole, Fla. She was a member of the "Mixed Nuts," St. Matthias Christian Mothers and her church choir. She also dedicated her time by volunteering at the VA Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fla. In her free time, Wilma enjoyed traveling, bicycling, cross-country skiing and playing cards, and she had a forever love of cows. Wilma is survived by her sons, William (Iva) Ehrhart of Bridgeport, W.Va., John (Chris) Ehrhart of Butler, and Joseph Ehrhart of Daytona, Fla.; her daughter, Trudy (Wayne) Scarborough of Zelienople; her stepson, Patrick Gordon of Pittsburgh; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; four brothers, John, Richard, Eugene and Donald Mansfield; and her son, Richard. Wilma's family would also like to recognize and thank her caregiver and friend, Deb Schulsinger, of Seminole, Fla., for providing her the chance to stay in Florida in her later years. A Celebration of Life for Wilma, who died Monday, Dec. 19, 2016, will be held on the 14th of Jan, 2017 at Lake Seminole Park, 10015 Park Blvd Seminole, FL 33777-3810. The family will hold a second service in Spring Church, PA at a later date. Memorial donations in Wilma's name may be made to the Suncoast Hospice, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33760.
