Obituary of William R. Marsh

Marsh, William R., 92, of Madeira Beach peacefully went to be with the Lord after a long and healthy life on Tuesday July 11, 2017. He was born in Lewes, DE, son of Clarence F. Marsh and Ella Marsh. He was the owner/operator of Shoreline Island Resort along with his wife Ellan for over 34 years. He was a long time member of the Madeira Beach Chamber of Commerce. Marsh was a naval pilot and served during World War II. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Ellan, his daughter, Victoria and his brother, John. He is survived by a son, Bill Marsh Jr.; a daughter, Kathryn V. Marsh; a grandson Michael (Lauri) Marsh and a granddaughter, Lindsay (Jonathan) Pendrich. Family will receive friends on Monday July 17th at 11:00am until 12 Noon at Reese Funeral Home 6767 Seminole Blvd Seminole, FL 33772. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation and committal will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the William and Ellan Marsh Scholarship at Keswick Christian School.
