Obituary of Pamela Rurka

She was born and raised in Hartford, CT and was a resident of Bristol before moving to Florida 30 years ago. She is survived by her sons Don and David Gosselin, daughter Jennifer Rurka, sisters Betty-Anne Lee, Wendy Neill, Dorothy Lafo, and Suzanne Leist, brother Dan Howe, and father John Howe. Pamela worked as an accountant for many years with Van Middlesworth and Company in St. Petersburg. She will be fondly remembered for her love of family, friends, and karaoke. Memorials will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2009 from 4-7pm, with a prayer service at 6pm, at Reese Funeral Home, 6767 Seminole Boulevard in Seminole, FL and on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 from 1-4pm, at O'Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Avenue in Forestville, Connecticut. Pamela will be laid to rest next to her late husband, Walter Rurka, at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Bristol, Connecticut.
