Obituary of Everett Green

Green, Everett, 87, has joined his son, Hal, in heaven on May 3rd, 2009. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mildred Green, a son Al Green of Seminole, a daughter Terry Samiec of Powder Springs, GA, six grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Mr. Green was a veteran of WWII having served on the Navy vessel, the USS Albemarle. Most of Mr. Green's life was spent working with children. He was a retired teacher from Boca Ciega High School, a Boy Scout leader, a principal and a counselor. He has volunteered with Meals on Wheels, the Veteran's Hospital, the Peace Corp, and the Rural Life Center in North Carolina. He is a member of Seminole United Methodist Church. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, May 6th from 5-7pm at Reese Funeral Home, 6767 Seminole Blvd., where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 7th at 11am. Interment will follow at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park, Largo. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations be made to Woodside Hospice House in Pinellas Park, FL.
