Obituary of Edith Katharine Dinwiddie

Edith Katharine Dinwiddie , 88 , of Largo , Florida passed away May 11, 2021 . She was born on July 28, 1932 in St. Petersburg to John and Florrie Bell Yarnall. She's preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Bill Yarnell, Mary Rennoe and son, Doug Barfield (Father James). Edith was a lifelong educator, starting as a teacher’s aid, working her way to being a director during which time she attended St. Petersburg Junior College. Edith enjoyed travelling and reading but especially loved spending time with family. She is survived by her children, Steve Barfield (Kay), John Barfield (Nancy), Bob Barfield (Terri), Katharine Doyle (Bill); grandchildren, Richard, Dimitri, Sarah, Brian, Kimberly (Jay); great-grandchildren- Taylee and Brinlee. Her celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at 11am. Her final resting place will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Petersburg
