Obituary of Frank Pultz Eibell

Frank Pultz Eibell, 78, of Madeira Beach, Florida, passed on February 5, 2021. He is survived by his wife Peggy of 56 years, sons Kurt Eibell, Eric Eibell, and grandchildren, Madison and Matheus. Frank was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend to everyone.

 

Frank loved motorsports sports, where he spent a career as an automotive mechanic. Born in Stamford Connecticut, he moved to the Bay Area in 1955 where he started his apprenticeship at Wayne Purdy European Motors. From his youth, he participated in drag racing, Formula Ford, Formula 5000, Can-Am, and supported Porsche Club and vintage auto racing. Additionally, he participated in motorcycle and boating competitions. In 1976, he started Eibell Performance, Inc becoming a leading Porsche, BMW, and Mercedes repair shop in the region. His love of sailing was also evident by his many boats, including the 44 foot 'Luckshot' he built on the side of his shop.

 

A special thank you for the assistance and understanding to the all the people that helped the family with during this difficult time. No service is planned due to COVID-19, but Frank was cremated and his ashes are to be scattered off-shore off John's Pass, Madeira Beach by a small family gathering.
