MEMORIES DON'T LEAVE LIKE PEOPLE DO, THEY ALWAYS STAY WITH YOU, WHETHER THEY MAY GOOD OR BAD, IT'S JUST THE MEMORIES THAT YOU HAVE.
ITS SOMEWHERE AROUND THE 1980 THAT I'VE KNOWN MR DYER, A QUITE, SOFT SPOKEN INDIVIDUAL WHO'S PERSONALITY OFFERED YOU A PLEASANT SMILE ALONG WITH A LITTLE CHARISMA, IN 1982 WHEN WE HAD OUR FIRST AND LAST SKILL TRAINING AT DANKS IN THE HILLS OF CHAPELTON /SUMMERFIELD I WAS ONE OF THOSE STUDENT HE HAD IN ONE OF THOSE GROUPS WHICH CONSISTS OF TEN GROUPS THAT WOULD GO DOWN TO THE CARRERAS SITE FOR A SERIES OF LECTURE ON HOW THE WHOLE TOBBACCO PLANTS ARE GROWN.
HE WOULD GO DOWN IN DETAILS FOR US TO UNDERSTAND BECAUSE HE KNEW WE WOULD BE TESTED ON THIS , SO HE WOULD MAKE CERTAIN WE UNDERSTAND FROM HIS HANDLE, SO HE WOULD INSIST ON US IF WE ''COMPREHEND''
HE THEN WOULD TAKE US IN THE NURSERY AND SHOW US HOW THE PLANTS GERMINATED UP TO THE TIME OF TRANSPLANTING TO THE TIME OF REAPING AND STORING IN THE BARNS, FROM THERE ON I 'VE NOTICE THAT THIS IS A GENTLEMAN WITH A GOD GIVEN TALENT THAT HE MOST CARRY THROUGH, HE DEVOTED HIS
TALENT TO HARD WORK WITH A STRONG MIND AND DETERMINATION, IN THE YEAR 2000 WE HEARD HE WAS MIGRATING AND WAS RENTING HIS HOUSE AND WE CONTACTED HIM WITH ALL WHO WENT TO SEE HIM, I DON'T KNOW HE GAVE US NOTHING TO BE DISCOURAGED ABOUT, AND WE NEGOTIATED WITH HIM AND HIS WIFE WHO REALLY ASSURED US OF THE PROSPECT, HOPING TO SEE HIM HAS HE PLAN TO BE HERE AFTER A TIME,BUT GOD CHANGES EVERYTHING, AND WE NEED NOT QUESTION HIM BCUZ HE KNOWS BEST,BUT ONE THING HE ALWAYS DO HE ALWAYS TAKES THE BEST, BUT AGAIN HE CHOOSE WHO TO SIT AT HIS RIGHT HAND
ROBIN WE MISS YOU VERY MUCH, WAS LOOKING TO SEE YOU SOME DAY TO SEE HOW YOUR PLACE IS BEEN KEPT THE WAY YOU LEFT IT OR THE WAY YOU'D EXPECT IT TO BE, IF YOU WERE THERE, BUT ALL ARE VANITY BEFORE HIM HE SAID
NOW ALL YOU'VE LEFT IS LEGACY OF MEMORIES FOR ALL TO CHERISH,YOU'VE JUST GONE A LITTLE BEFORE US IN GLORY LAND,HOPING TO SEE YOU SOMEDAY.
GOODBYE MR DYER SLEEP WELL IN JESUS, GOODNIGHT. MARLINE AND FAMILY
WE LOOSE A FREN
GONE TOO SOON

I have know Robin for over 30 years. He has always been a very mannerly, loving, caring, kind and respectful young man. Robin met and maried Beverley (my daughter) over 20 years and he has never changed, he was the son-in-law that every mother-in-law would love to have. He was fondly called different names by family members. For some he was called Robin, Dyer, Mr. Dyer, Rob and uncle Robin. He gained the love and respect from every family member with whom he cross path with. Even though Robin is no longer with today , his fond memories will live on.
May His Soul Rest in Peace and Light Perpetual shine on him. Love

Fond memories circle within and will never die. I came clearly remember the first time I met Uncle Robin - welcoming, smiling, jovial and always giving some good advice. I remember you took Gregory fishing and he caught nothing and you laugh and smile about it for days. Though gone physically, your spirit amd momories will always live on. The Lord needed an Angel and you resume suited his profile. Rest in Peace Gentle Soul.
Yasmine, Jonelle and Big J and I will never forget you.
We will miss You deeply Lesa.

My uncle was kind, hard-working, and soft-spoken. You only have to spend five minutes with Dale and Randy to know they had an amazing father. Robin and Bev raised two children who are smart, talented, and loving. I'm grateful for the time spent with Robin and I treasure those memories. I fondly remember the trip Tanya and I took to JA and the time we spent with him. I remember weekends at my mom's house when Dale and Randy were younger and would come over to swim and we would cook and visit and just hang out. Whenever, I flew in from Louisiana, I could count on the Sunday visits after church. Times like this remind us to make every day count and not sweat the small stuff.

Tanya Sparkes-Swepson: I'll never forget how gracious uncle Robin was to his two nieces, my cousin Dawn and I, when we spent time in Jamaica after graduation back in 1992. He came and picked us up in Ocho Rios and drove us around on those winding Jamaican roads from Ocho Rios to May Pen to Chapleton and other various places visiting family showing us a wonderful time. He even took us to experience Mineral Bath which was a first for me and a cherished memory. I'm so happy I had a chance to spend that time with uncle Robin and his beautiful family at their home. I have fond memories of the day we all spent together at the beach in Ocho Rios. We had lots of laughs that day. Thanks uncle Robin you were a kind, quiet soul. Since that visit to Jamaica, it has been so wonderful to witness over the years the wonderful content of your character as anyone can see what a wonderful legacy you leave behind in your two amazing sons. God bless your soul you will truly be missed.
Love Tanya

It is a measure of the man's spirit, warmth, and character that has compounded me to leave this message on his tribute wall. I only ever met Robin a couple of times, but he truly left an impression on me; one of good humour, kindness, selflessness and a sense of humanity. Those who have come to know you will surely have a void in their lives which can only be filled by the reminiscence of time spent with you.
May God bless your family and all those you have left behind

Dearest Uncle Robin. An amazing man, with an amazing spirit. I will never forget your kindness, your wonderful, calm demeanor, and your warm, gracious smile. You posessed a very humble spirit that is difficult to be matched. You will truly be missed, yet we feel your spirit surrounding us with joy and contentment. I feel your spirit within the souls of your boys Dale and Randy, and your immense smile through Bev. I wont forget the times I've spent with you and your family, and the peacefulness that radiated strongly within you. I will miss you greatly.

My fondest memory of Robin, was some years ago, when I visited during Easter. Through his love of cooking, he made a huge ham and curry goat..Not many members of his immediate family eats pork (unfortunately),so as a fellow pork lover, we had Christmas in Easter.)Robin loved the outdoors and nature, always pleasant, kind and loving with a great sense of humor. We will miss you, but God saw it fit to claim you.We give Him thanks for the life you shared with us,and we are assured that we will meet again.Rest in peace!!

My memories of Robin goes back to a child of 3 or 4 years old who was very bright and eager to learn how to read. With my help Robin learnt how to read within the shortest time imaginable, I am vague on specifics, too much time has elapsed, but I do recall he "got it"quickly, a few days perhaps, and I have retained a healthy respect for that child to this day.
For you Robin life was short but I do hope you had some happy times. Memories are all we leave behind I kow you will be remembered Kindly. Rest in peace.

I can't believe you're gone..My mom always said i could hear uncle Robin's bike for miles away- I would say that's Uncle Rue ( as i couldnt pronounce his name properly)..My last memories of him was 3 years ago when i came to visit for Christmas. Despite his illness he insisted on cooking curry chicken for me all by himself. It was a great meal and i got the opportunity to spend some personal time with him trying to motivate him. He was an awesome person though stubborn who loved his family dearly..
I really miss you, words can't explain the sadness..see you in heaven!! RIP
Love
Alicia

Robin was the unassuming quiet individual slow to anger who would always seek to walk away from a confrontation.
He leaves behind a legacy of disciplined hard work ethic for his boys to follow. Always punctual for work never missing work for any thing but genuine illness, faithful and loyal to his employers and his job.. Having worked with one employer since leaving High School in Jamaica and one other since migrating to Florida which only came to a premature end following his debilitating illness close to three years ago..
A lover of nature, Robin would rather be in the bushes with the birds or at the pond fishing where we lived in the country side in Jamaica than to be at any mass sport with crowded audiences. An avid bird shooter with his sling shot and a fisher man with his bamboo pole, he continued his fishing prowess on immigration to Florida and was always able to have a fish feed whenever I was in Florida visiting from Jamaica.
He was the guy who was always willing to listen to any and all problems and was never too busy or occupied that he would not be the ear for family and friends to open up to.
He was a devoted family man whose primary commitment and purpose in life was the betterment and growth of his immediate family and by the extension of his extended family.
Robin by his convictions and temperament came to accept his illness and his limitations, and was never bitter, never questioned why me?. He accepted his lot and did whatever he could to keep his family together under the prevailing circumstances.
I am extremely happy and heartened that Robin acknowledged the fact of his mortality and accepted the Lord as his personal " Saviour" and gave his heart to the Lord; and with that we have a hope to meet him again in eternity.
Robin we will miss your quiet demeanor but through your boys, your seriousness of purpose and your goals will be realized.
Farewell, my brother
