Obituary of Walter George Philie

Service information is still pending.Walter G. Philie age 59, passed away Saturday November 20, after a brief illness at Saint Petersburg General Hospital surrounded by his family and friends. Walter was a native of St Petersburg, graduated from Dixie Hollins High School in 1969 and retired from General Telephone Company after 34 years of service and served Chief Union Steward for the local IBEW. Walter is survived by his loving wife of 39 years Barbara Philie, Daughters Lisa Philie and Laura Philie, beloved grandson and little buddy Skyler Blake Philie, and extended family. Services will be held in the Chapel at St Jude Cathedral located at 5815 5th Ave N St. Petersburg on Tuesday November 30th at 3:00 PM
