Obituary of Louise F. Snow

Louise F. (Ladd) Bergeron Snow, 78, formerly of Shelburne Falls, Mass., passed away Monday evening, Jan. 17, 2011, at the Meese Countryside Hospital in Clearwater. Louise was born in Shelburne Falls on Sept. 18, 1932, the daughter of Clayton and Alice (Prouty) Ladd. She attended the former Arms Academy. She was employed by the Mohawk Manor Rest Home in Shelburne Falls for over 25 years. Louise moved to Florida in the late 1990s. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed living in Florida. Survivors include three sons: Tom Bergeron and his wife Cathy of Gill, Mass., Bob Bergeron and Leslie Bergeron, both of Greenfield; three daughters, Rena Sorochty and her husband Carl of St. Petersburg, Linda Bergeron-Larsen of Greenfield and Lisa Woodall of Ocala; two brothers, Leslie Ladd, of Ashfield, Mass., and Richard Ladd of Shelburne Falls; 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Louise was predeceased by her second husband, Norman Snow; her first husband, Robert Bergeron; a son, William ''Bill'' Bergeron; brother, Ernest Dubie, and sister, Mae Williams. A memorial service will be held at Arms Cemetery at the convenience of the family in the spring. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
