That is how I met Cliff, on a blind double date, with my friend Denise and her boyfreind James. He had the blue oldsmobile and was working the hot dog truck down by the point!!! We had a lot of great times. I will never forget one New Years Eve we went a party and he drank Champagn from my boot. He definitely was a lot of fun to be around. He is definitely being missed!!!

I was friends with Cliff for 30 years. We met in 1981 while he was working as a Pizza man in Montrose NY. That was the summer he tried out as a Pitcher for the Yankee's Minor League baseball team. Unfortunately he didn't make the team. Shortly after he went to work at General Motors corp. in Tarrytown NY, where his Dad had already worked for 30 years,..I was just a 5 year new guy. Shortly afterwards Cliff bought himself his first new car, 1985 Camaro RS, Copper color with Tan lower trim. I had the Monte Carlo SS. We spent hours waxing and cleaning them, and crusied around showing them off. We were also regulars at the local Bar and played on the Dart team. We were a force to be reconded with when we teamed up. Without speaking we knew what the other was thinking, we rarley loss. We also double dated throughout the 80's always showing our dates a good time. One of the most fun times I remember, was the Holloween party at Johnny Rits Bar 1985. We dresses up as a old man with a Young hooker. Yes,..Cliff was the hooker. By the end of the night, Cliff was table top dancing to the song "Blue Berry Hill", everyone in the bar went wild,..throwing money at Cliff,..I never laughed so hard in my life. We won a bottle of Champain! When Cliff moved to Florida in 1990, it was never the same. He did come to New York to visit us at our home for a few days in 2003,& 2004. We had some great BBQ food and watched Fireworks from the end of the driveway on 4th of July. Cruised my Corvette during the day, seeing the local sites. The last time I saw Cliff was 2007, unfortunately at his Grandmothers Wake. We had dinner together the following evening, and back to Florida a day later. He was like a brother to me, I will miss him dearly.

We met Cliff once we moved to Florida from New Jersey. Cliff, Mike and I instantly bonded; probably because we all had that New Yorker attitude and love for steamed Sabrett hot dogs!
Cliff was ALWAYS fun to be with and we loved hearing about all his escapades. At least 5 years ago we had a talk about his bad health and the fact that he may not live to be old or grey. We loved his positive attitude about life and his acceptance of death; whenever it would come. The world is a better place with Cliff having been here and making us his friends; we will miss him always!
We hope that you are chasing the girls around in heaven and hope that there is the BEST hot dog wagon around! Enjoy your golf and poker games in Heaven and look down on us with love! Love and miss you ! Christina and Mike Powers.

I only got the pleasure to know you as kids in school. After school we driffed apart and started our lives as we should have. I pray that although your life was very short, it was filled with many rewarding blessings. Im memories of you are fond one, and you will always be kept in my heart.
Your work on earth is done, rest well my friend.
For family and friends that were close, May God bring peace and healing for this void in your heart.
God Bless: Linda Costa Hamm

The last time I saw you, you were but a teenager. We lost touch for a long time, but reconnected not to long ago. No matter the distance, or time we did not see or speak to one another, I always would tell people that you are my brother, when asked how many siblings I have. We may have only been half brother and sister, but we share the same blood, and father. You left this world to young and to soon, but then God only knows why he took you home with him so soon. I am sure you are up there smiling down on every one and enjoying the peace and love of all who were in heaven before you. Rest in peace, until we meet again. Your sister Joann

You were the best Dad that I could've asked for. You loved me the best way you knew how and I thank God for that every day. I miss you so much, but know that you will always be in my heart and looking over me as my guardian angel. I love you! -Lauren
