Obituary of CWO 3 Albert I Wilson

Wilson, CWO 3 Albert I. (Ret), Sept. 2, 1933-April 12, 2011. He was predeceased by his wife Judy C. Wilson and son, Jeffery A. Wilson. He is survived by his loving daughter, Deborah Rae Wilson Enzor (Christopher); grandsons, Spc. Christopher C. Enzor & Derek W. Enzor; sisters, Brenda Ketchum (Paul), Joann Jennings (William) & Connie Austin; brother, John Wilson (Jean); several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. He was born in Largo during the great depression and had a tough life that made a strong man. He graduated from Largo High School and worked various jobs in construction before enlisting in the US Army, fighting in Korea and two tours in Viet Nam. He had a distinguished Army career, retiring after 30 years as Chief Warrant Officer 3. After his Army career, he worked for a year in Saudi Arabia before returning and working for Pinellas County Fleet Maintenance. He started as a mechanic and after 14 years of outstanding service retired as a supervisor. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the Largo Historical Society. He was a dedicated family man who always had compassion, kindness and a wisdom we will miss forever. He was a role model for any man. His unconditional love will never be forgotten. There's a hole in our lives that can never be filled. The world lost a great man. A special thank you to Suncoast Hospice Ivory Team for your kindness and care.
