Obituary of Donald A. Ratajczak

Ratajczak, Donald A., 82, of Largo, was born in Reading, PA and he passed away on May 16, 2011. Don served in the 519th M. P. Battalion during WW II in Yokohama, Japan. He retired from Carpenter Technology after 37 years of service. He was a lifetime member of the Oakbrook Fire Company in Oakbrook, PA and a member of Holiday Isles Elks Lodge #1912 in Madeira Beach, FL. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruth E. (Gossler) Ratajczak of Millmont (Reading), PA; his daughter, Donna Gechter (Rick) of Seminole, FL; his son, Robert Ratajczak (Donna) of Spanish Fort, AL; his sister, Eleanor Blumberg of Reading, PA; two grandsons, Cory & Cameron; and his niece, Niki (Janusz) Bartnicki of Reading, PA. He was preceded in death by his son, Dale, in 1967. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 30, 2011 at Reese Funeral Home in Seminole, FL. Inurnment with Military Honors will be held on Friday, July 22nd, 2011 at 12:45 P.M. at Bay Pines National Cemetery in Bay Pines, FL.
