Obituary of Douglas Diller

Douglas W. Diller, 63, of St. Petersburg, FL, died September 13, 2011, in St. Petersburg. Doug was a 1966 graduate of Findlay High School and received his AA degree from St. Petersburg Junior College in 1968. He was a firefighter from 1967-1986, earning the rank of Lieutenant for the Belleair Bluffs Fire Dept., Belleair Bluffs, FL. He was a lab technician for Lea Optical in Clearwater, FL for 14 years. Doug enjoyed playing golf, bowling and being with family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph & Maxine Diller. He is survived by his sister, Becky ( Howard) Waldron of St. Petersburg; his aunt, Shirley Shupe of Findlay; cousins, David (Helen) Diller and John Diller; nephews, Matt (Ramona) Dillahunty and Scott (Renee) Dillahunty; and niece, Tracy (Chris) Langer, along with many great nieces, great nephews and extended family.
