Obituary of Orville M. Heard

Heard, Orville M. "Red", 94 of Madeira Beach, Florida, died Saturday November 26, 2011. He was born in Albertville, Alabama on December 1, 1916. He fought for his country in the Second World War in the United States Army. He came to Florida in the 1930s and was a successful businessman. He worked in the construction industry and ended his career in real estate investing. He enjoyed traveling, the beach and leaves behind many friends and family. He is survived by his son and daughter in law Larry and Jackie Heard, along with his granddaughter Laney Heard. There will be a small gathering at Reese's Funeral Home on Seminole Boulevard today from 4-6pm. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made in his memory to the Wounded Warriors Project (woundedwarriorsproject.org).
