Obituary of Dorothy Jean Ledbetter

LEDBETTER, DOROTHY GRAY ("JEANNIE"), 83, completed her earthly journey and went to the Lord on Thursday (March 1, 2012) at Hospice House Woodside, Pinellas Park. She was born in West Grove, Pa., moved to Tampa in 1960 from Pennsylvania, and to Madeira Beach in 1997. She worked for several prominent Tampa physicians and was the office manager of Ledbetter Air Conditioning Co. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, where she served as Esther. She attended Church by the Sea in Madeira Beach. She is survived by her devoted husband of 47 years, Alvin A. Ledbetter and was a beloved aunt to several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at E. James Reese Funeral Home, Seminole, on Sunday (March 11, 2012) from 2-4 p.m. A celebration of life service will begin at 4 p.m., at which time guests will be invited to share their memories of Jeannie.
