Obituary of Shirley Meyers

Meyers, Shirley J., 75, of St. Petersburg, formerly of Kankakee , Illinois passed away April 15, 2012. She was born April 9, 1937 to Arshall and Bessie Hamende. She is survived by her loving husband Kenneth G. Meyers whom she married May 26, 1956. Also surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Wayne Dunham, son, Larry Meyers, daughter and son-in-law Glenda & Charles McFall, daughter Kendra Meyers, four grandchildren, Allen Evans, Erin Stout, Bret Dunham, J.J. Kanoski, and two great-grandchildren, Brianna and Blake Dunham. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Gerald Hamende. She was a long time employee of Kroehler Mfg. Bradley, Ilinois and enjoyed her retirement years. She will be laid to rest at Bay Pines National Cemetery, St. Petersburg, Florida where private services will take place.
