Obituary of Patricia Andrews

Andrews, Patricia "Pat," 56, of Pinellas Park, FL., passed away on Wednesday, April 25th, 2012 after her battle with cancer. Pat moved here in 1988 from New York, where she began her career with Paragon Cable. After more than 20 years of service, Pat left Bright House Networks as the Senior Director of Billing Services. Pat is survived by her loving husband and partner of 24 years, Raymond Rosen, and her parents, Paul and Barbara Salisbury of Largo. She is also survived by their sons Paul Andrews of Largo, Collin Andrews of Pinellas Park, Shawn Rosen and his wife Chris, and grandsons Dakota and Kolton of Columbus, Ohio; Eric Rosen and granddaughter Cheyenne of Columbus, Ohio; Raymond Rosen, Jr. (preceded in death). She leaves behind her loving sister and brothers; JoAnn Sadler and her husband Mac of Pinellas Park; Michael Salisbury and his wife Kim of New Port Richey; Tom Salisbury of St. Petersburg, and Steve Salisbury of Nashville, TN. Pat is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and their families, who loved her dearly; Allison Naumann, Sarah Gladu, Nicole Cox, Cheyenne Salisbury, Sean Hatfield, Tom Salisbury, Lynn Salisbury, Laura Salisbury, and Sheldon Salisbury; and great grand-nephews Christopher and Silas, and great grand-niece, Cecily. Originally born in Detroit, Pat grew up in Massachusetts and later moved to New York before moving to Florida to be close to family. She was well-known for her outgoing personality, generosity, strong will, infectious laugh, and wicked sense of humor. Pat enjoyed riding with Raymond on his Harley Davidson, playing golf, taking trips to Georgia and Ohio, and playing poker with family. She also was a veracious reader, enjoyed cooking for an army (i.e., the family) and built a reputation for being incredibly good at it. Pat especially loved family gatherings and spending time with family and friends. She will be unbelievably missed by those she leaves behind, because as Pat said, "we love hard." A celebration of Pat's life will be held at Reese Funeral Home, 6767 Seminole Blvd., Seminole, FL., on Thursday, May 3rd, at 7:00 p.m. A private committal service for family will be held the following day. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center.
