Aunt Dot will always be remembered for her thoughtfulness and caring about family through her many cards and letters. She never seemed to forget special occasions. My mother Joan Kastendieck will always remember her for the kindness she showed when she stayed with her when she had come over from England to marry Dad Arend sixty-three years ago. We know she is at peace now in her heavenly home.

Mrs. K, as we called your mom, blessed my life in many ways. I remember her as Superintendent of our Sunday School at Trinity, as she influenced my young life and taught me to love the Lord. I remember my fruitlesslessons teaching her to whistle while she babysat me and I appreciated her many offers for me to swim in her pool when I was a teenager. But most of all, I will remember her MANY acts kindness to my family during our challenges with Bettie and my mom's situation. She was a true friend and told me "that's what friends are for" as she went beyond the norm to help us. I will be forever grateful for her example of what it means to live as a Christian woman. I send you my love Jane, Karl & families and share your loss.

My grandmother always was such a good role moldel. My Mom Jane took after her values and passed them to me, and now my son Dylan. We did not see eye to eye all the time, but there is days now where I say, or do something, and my son says I sound just like Nana. His Great Nana and Grandpa loved us both so much and they will both be very missed. They are together now looking down, and I hope to see them in the next life. Thank you Mom and Dad for be so self less ad putting everyone else first. Now it is your time. Nana and grandpa are together. Susan and Dylan Sheets
