Obituary of Robert W. Yount

Yount, Robert Warren 88, of Redington Beach, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2009. He came here in 1977 from Ridgewood, NJ. He was born in Middletown, IN in 1920. He graduated from Miami University in Oxford, OH 1942. He was a United States Navy World War II and Korean War veteran. He worked for Joseph E. Seagrams & Sons in Lawrenceburg, IN and New York City. While in Florida he continued to serve his fellow citizens during elections as a poll worker and also on the Redington Beach Park Board. He was preceded in death by his parents John Joseph and Elizabeth Tykle Yount. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Jane; children David John Eva Yount, Indianapolis, IN, Elizabeth Ann Laichas, Cincinnati, OH, Robert Alan Lynda Yount, South Bend, IN, Sally Jane John Smith, Indianapolis, IN; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and sister Suzanne Munson, Anna Maria Island, FL. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, March 13, 2009 at the funeral home.
