Obituary of Rush Morgan

Morgan, CWO Ret. Rush, 79, of Pinellas Park, died Saturday, March 7, 2009, at Crystal Oaks of Pinellas. Born in Georgiana, AL, he came here in 1988 from Irvine, CA. He retired from the United States Marine Corps in 1970; having served over 21 years and witnessed 3 wars. He founded the Marine Corps Aviation Recon. Association. Also was a founding member of the Florida Chapter of the National Mustangs Association. Rush was preceded in death by his son, Russ Morgan. He is survived by loving wife: Mercedes Morgan nee Miller, Pinellas Park, FL; sons: Michael Morgan, WI, and Paul Morgan, FL; daughter:Pam Morgan, TX; 7 grandchildren and several greatgrandchildren. There will be a graveside service with full military honors at Bay Pines National Cemetery on Monday, March 23rd at 2pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at a family member's home, details will be provided at the service.
