Helen, we've talked over the years about our young ones. Dave and I thought for a long time that Tony would be our son-in-law, didn't happen. You know how to reach me if you need to talk, God has a plan even if we don't know it, all we can is pray. Sue

To All Of Tony's Family,
We only knew Tony for a short while,a couple of years. He would visit Zly's Deli every day for lunch with all of us, including the regular gang from UPS. Every day we would look forward to spending time with Tony. He would always put a smile on your face no matter what. We shared so many stories and laughter together. All of us from Zly's Deli will miss your smiling face, Tony and will never forget how much joy you brought to us all. We wish your family peace in knowing that your memory will live on forever. may God Bless You All.
Love From All Of Us At Zly's Deli,
Deb,Gene,John and Kaylyn

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Martin Family.
Tony- You are like another brother to me. I’ve known you all my life, and I cherish my memories of you. I don’t know how to say how much I will miss seeing you. Bike riding with you, Jay, Gordon and Dave, watching you and Jay paint-ball in the back yard, riding in the back of your VW, the Monarch Circle Brothers…just hanging out – all of these memories and many more. Tony always had a great way of putting things…Tony-isms. I will miss your laugh. Thank you for keeping me in line the little time I worked at UPS.
Your brother forever-
“Lil’ Jay” – Josh Frankland

TONY, I STILL REMEMBER THE DAY WE MET. WE COULDN'T HAVE BEEN MORE THAN 7-8. I WAS ON MY BIG WHEEL, FARTHER AWAY FROM HOME THAN I SHOULD HAVE BEEN. YOU WERE RIDING WITH ME ON THE BACK. WE GOT ON YOUR RIDING LAWNMOWER. YOU THE SON OF A MECHANIC, TIED A STRING TO THE GOVERNOR AND SPRAYED ETHER IN THE CARB. TO THIS DAY IT'S THE FASTEST I'VE BEEN ON A MOWER. YOUR FATHER CAME RUNNING OUT OF THE GARAGE YELLING AT BOTH OF US. FROM THAT DAY FORWARD WE DROVE OUR PARENTS CRAZY WORRYING ABOUT WHAT US BOYS WERE UP TO. HELL RAISERS WE WERE, AND GOOD AT IT. ALL OF US GUYS FROM THE NEIGHBORHOOD WERE A REAL CREW. WE WENT THRU A LOT OF LIFE'S EXPERIENCES TOGETHER FROM YOUNG KIDS TO MEN. I'LL FOREVER REMEMBER THE LONG BIKE RIDES AND YOUR OFF THE WALL SAYINGS. YOU ARE GREATLY MISSED. HOWEVER, CARRIED IN OUR HEARTS.
FOREVER FRIEND... JAY

Dear Helen and family,
When I read Teri's blog, I was in complete shock over the news of your loss of Tony. As you know, I have been a friend of the family for over 30 years, I am so sorry to hear of Tony's passing. My family and I will be keeping all of you in our prayers as you go through this difficult time.
I wanted to dedicate an old poem in the memory of Tony. This poem gave me comfort when I lost my parents and I hope it does the same for you and your family.
In deepest sympathy,
Diana and family
"A Thousand Winds"
Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

Tony was always there with a laugh or a smile, especially when Helen called, his answer would be “Hello Helen”. We miss Tony deeply and are very saddened by the loss of such a dear friend. Our trips to Florida will have a little less joy without Tony there and going to play disc golf will never be the same. Our thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathy’s are with the entire family

I want to express my heartfelt condolences to every member of the Martin family, Tony was one of a kind. Tony and I have been friends since our childhood. We never really talked to each other about the pain, the hurt experienced in life, until the past year. A conversation that I think surprised us both. I am so happy that we both trusted one another enough to finally confide in each other but I will forever be sorry we didn't spend more time together recently. I will always regret that I didn't contact Tony in the last few weeks of his life. God forgive me Tony, my friend, may you rest in peace.
