Obituary of Edmund J. Bajenski

BAJENSKI, Edmund J. Died Saturday, July 11, 2009. Born in Akron, OH Dec. 11, 1925, and living in Seminole at the time of his death. He was married for 56 years to Patricia A. Bajenski Hermann, deceased January 2008. He is survived by his children, Jeanni Bajenski, Largo; Richard & Patricia Bajenski, Houston, TX; Merrie Annette Tuni & Chris Hensler, Clearwater Beach; Ed & Joy Bajenski, Kent, OH; Kathryn Gruber, Largo; Carol & Robbie Bohatch, Huntsville, AL; Ann Bajenski, Huntsville, AL; and 8 grandchildren. He was a WWII veteran, Okinawa, Japan. He is noted for his contribution as an engineer in the design of the Goodyear Tire/ Rubber Blimp, Space Shuttle Insulation Tiles, Coiled Strain Gage and Dynamic Bearing Load Tester which are still used today, and several other inventive engineered designs used in industry past and present. Funeral arrangements will be by Reese Funeral Home, Seminole, with viewing on Friday, July 17, 5-7pm. A mass will be said at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Seminole, on Saturday, July 18, 9:30am, to be followed by a brunch at the Edgewater Pines Club House, 10399 67th Ave. N, Seminole.
