I met Larry almost 16 years ago at Pepe"s. I was reading a book at the bar when Larry sat down next to me and started a conversation. I then met his wife Kay who came in later. She saw that I was reading. She was a great lady, one with culture and class. I liked her and Larry from the start. The next evening Larry and Kay once again came in and sat next to me. Kay said that she haad brought me a gift. A gift from a lady that I had just met. It was a book marker with my name in Japanise. I was at a critical time in my life and this was the best thing that anyone had done for me in a long time. I felt blessed. A friendship began with that bookmarker. Years have passed and my feelings for the Rileys have never changed. If I wanted to know about where the group was meeting or what was going on I would just call Larry, he always knew. Larry called with Joe Norris on December 30, 2009 to ask about me and my wife, and to wish us the best for the hollidays. We said that when we returned from Lake Tahoe we would get together. It was another call from my friend Larry. Always carring always sharing. What began as a friendship from a bookmark, I will always treasure. I will still wait for another telephone call from my friend Larry. I am truly going to miss him!

To Kay and family: I was so very sorry to hear of the passing of Larry. He was such a great friend to everyone and one of the most sincere people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. We spent many wonderful evenings around "Feather" discussing so many things. We spent a lot of time trying to help each other when you were going through your treatments and I was trying to take care of the Judge and he was a great comfort for me. I am very sorry we never got to play the round of golf we always talked about but maybe in another time and another place. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family that he loved so much and I'm sorry I can not be there for you but know my heart is.
REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND.........

I so wish I could be there for all of you. My Uncle, as everyone knows, was a wonderful man. It has left a hole in all of our hearts that will never be replaced. Memories that comes to mind are the stories he always told that induced fits of laughter, his duty of grilling at every family reunion which he passed onto JP this pass yearand how you could never get away with out a hug. He smile was always contagious. I love you and will miss you forever. The Ryley Clan will never be the same. I love you Aunt Kay and can't tell you how sorry I am for your loss. Bless you all XOXO

Steve & I extend to you our deepest sympathy. It's difficult to adequately express our grief at Larry's untimely passing. To know him was to know a loved and loving man. He adored his family, truly enjoyed his friends, and did everything with such enthusiasm. He was a true gentleman, an intellect, and genuinely kind man. I am proud and humbled to call him my friend. May his soul rest in everlasting peace.

Larry was a true friend and I am going to really miss him. Larry loved to socialize and we he and I spent a lot of time together. He was very proud of his family and spoke of them often, not just his immediate family but the whole extended Ryley clan.
I keep thinking about one night last week when I drove by Bascom's and his car was there since he liked to go there to socialize and watch the ball games on TV. However, that night I just wasn't in the mood and decided I would see him in the next day or two. But of course I never did!
kay my prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. He was an amazing person and will be missed by everyone whose life he ever touched.

To Kay, Family, and Friends:
This is Kay ex-Bartender at Antonio's Pasta Grille. I am so very sorry to learn of Larry's passing today. Andrea emailed me the obituary. I have been out of the loop for about 6 months so this is very upsetting news.
I have known Larry for the entire time I have lived in Florida and met him and his wife Kay at Pepe's in 2000. I also used to love serving him, his wife and his friends at the various restaurants that I bartended at in the Feather Sound area; as well as socializing with him and his guy friends and Bascom's.
I always looked forward to running into Larry when he was out and about and he was such a wonderful person to have long meaningful conversations with, as well as tons of laughs and cheer. Larry was an extremely intelligent, accomplished man and he was loved by so many people in the area.
Larry always talked about his wife and how much he adored her. He was such a loving and devoted husband and father and also was so proud of his children. Words can not express how very sorry I am for your loss.
I send you prayers of strength during this difficult time for your family and friends.\
Feather Sound will not be the same without him.
Peace and Blessing...
