Obituary of Robert K. Davis

Robert K. Davis, age 67, born August 29, 1942 in Abilene, Kansas.. Bob passed away on Sunday February 21, 2010. He is survived by his wife Sharron and sister Barbara, Children James, Jennifer and Kathryn. 5 Beautiful grandchildren Alissa, Zachary, Sienna Alexis, and Ethan. Bob grew up on a farm in Abilene, Kansas with his sisters Barbara and Carol. He loved to go down to the river to go fishing. He was in 4H and involved with his church and community. Bob joined the Us Marine Corp. in 1961 where he recieved a medal for sharp shooting. When he came home from the Corp. he met his lovely wife Sharron. They dated for a year and got married June 13, 1965. In the years following they had 3 children. Bob was a loving husband and father. He was a hard worker and wonderful provider. He won many Gold awards for the work he did with Marriott. Golf was a big part of Bob's life. He started playing as a young man with his father, Marion. He played in many tournaments by himself and with his family. He also liked telling stories of his childhood. He loved to serve God and Country. He will always be in hearts.
