Obituary of Col. Michael J. Pavlo

Michael J. Pavlo, Jr., (US Army, Ret.) 88, of Longmont, CO, formerly of St. Petersburg, passed away March 29, 2010. He was born in Czechoslovokia and resided in Bridgeport, CT. He was a St. Petersburg resident from 1970-2005. He honorably served in the US Army for 30 years and retired as a Colonel. He was hospital administrator at Miseracordia Medical Center in Philadelphia for 10 years. He received his Bachelors of Hospital Administration from Baylor University. He was an enthusiastic golfer, fisherman, artist, and pianist. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years Anna; son Robert Pavlo; brother John Pavlo, and his parents. He is survived by his daughter Lorraine Pavlo of Longmont, CO; grandson Michael Roesler; brother Joseph Pavlo; sisters Marion O'Shea & Margaret Hayduk; and nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday 4/4/2010 starting at 2pm until 4pm at the funeral home. Services will be Monday, 4/5/2010 at 1:00pm at the funeral home. Donations to American Heart Assocation.
